JT & Julie

If you were in the Bluegrass this weekend, then you know that Saturday was a glorious spring day in Kentucky, better than anything JT and Julie could have dreamed for their outdoor wedding. The strains of accoustic guitar music wafted through the air while thoroughbreds grazed on the otherside of the fence beyond and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to be! Many thanks to their photographer, good friend, Natalie Hagen (http://www.nataliehagen.com/), for letting me tag along and experiment with a new camera. This wedding was also special because I will be photographing Julie's sister's wedding in October! Meanwhile, congratulations, JT & Julie! Your wedding was beautiful!

Trevor and his parents

Trevor moved to Kentucky as a 5-month old. Now he's nearly four and about to leave Kentucky's green hills behind him. It was a privilege to capture these images of Trevor's sweet little family before they move next month. Thanks, guys! Share/Bookmark

Joshua & Brittany

Friday the weather was yukky. Sitting at a traffic light with my wipers running, I was skeptical we would be able to go through with our photo session as planned and though the forecast for the next morning didn't call for rain, much cooler temps and stiff breezes didn't sound like fun either. With Joshua only in town for the weekend, we were going to have to work with whatever weather God sent our way!
Just a few blocks from our meeting location, the heavens opened and a sprinkle turned into a down pour. But, within minutes the rain stopped and the cloud cover blew over and the sun shined gloriously! Click here to watch the slideshow!
