I wish all 2 year olds were as easy to photograph as Miss "L". If she had any difficult moments, it might have been exerting her preference to wear dress #1 over dress #2 (Mommy's choice!). What can you say, though? I like a girl who has an opinion!

Miss L was a quiet kind of girl. She didn't say much but would comply with my request to 'stand here', 'sit there', 'turn your head this way,' etc. At the end of our time together she still hadn't said much but when I got a peek at her blue fingernails, I had a feeling "L" had bunches of personality I hadn't gotten to see but wanted to know! I was glad to learn that she attends the same school as my daughter and I look forward to bumping into her now and again (as I did today) in the years ahead!
For Tracy and Jeremy's engagement session we headed to the Louisville waterfront, site of their winter engagement. As one based in central Kentucy I was so excited to shoot somewhere different. The weather was great and we had fun wandering around looking for fun locations. I wish I could share them all! I think we got some great variety!

I grew up in a family of all girls, and since we only have one daughter (for now), the lives of brothers has always been a bit curious to me. These guys seemed to exemplify all the positives you think of in terms of a brotherly relationship, plus a lot of energy! Playmates, best friends, partners in crime -- the "B" brothers have it! Thanks, guys, for a peek into your lives! Give your mom a hug for me!
