Sunday's weather was perfect for an evening engagement session with Trevor and Shannon, and the location they chose was even better (thank you Mrs. S for pulling some strings)! It was also nice to finally meet Trevor who just returned from a semester of interning in the film industry in southern California. They were super laid back and Nathan and I had fun exploring the grounds of this gorgeous horse farm with them while we snapped away. Congratulations, Josh & Brittany!
Given the bright afternoon sunshine and beautiful blue skies, it was difficult to believe that the forecast for Josh & Brittany's ceremony hour later that day called for a 50/50 chance of thunderstorms. Brittany didn't let that worry her though and enjoyed her wedding day to the fullest, in spite of the rain drops that fell, just for her processional. What an entrance! The storms held off and the happy couple was married in the presence of their family and friends at a beautiful, historic home on the Ohio River. Kate & Eamonn
I'm so glad to have a chance to share these images from last weekend's session with Kate and Eamonn! I wish I could adequately describe what fun, unassuming personalities these guys have. When we sat down the first time to discuss their wedding plans, I asked Kate to describe her style. She told me she loved the era of classic movies, her favorite being Audrey Hepburn in "Funny Face." As they began describing their vision for their wedding I knew right away it was going to be an event with their individual taste stamped all over it. When it came time to select our shoot location for their engagement picts, it was no surprise that Kate requested they be taken at Wilmore's own little soda shop/drug store. I was happy to oblige. Check back in July for images from their wedding! I can't wait!

Katie and Kris
Thursday afternoon was a beautiful day for capturing Kris and Katie's engagement photos! They were great sports as we tromped around the beautiful grounds of Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, to capture these images. Thanks, guys, for a fun shoot. I'm just bummed that I have to wait until November for your wedding!
