On the Job

Beth and David's wedding afforded some unique photo locations... like shooting on balconies 21 stories above the ground! David was a good sport in spite of some vertigo. That's Nathan getting the cool shot in the previous post, second from bottom.

don't worry...the camera strap was securely around my neck (yes, those are my feet)!

Beth and David were so sweet to ask for this photo. It was the last one on the camera's memory card and I think you can see on our faces a touch of weariness near the end. But it was a great day!

David and Beth were married a week ago Saturday in the presence of their closest friends and family in the heart of the city they love. They paid homage to the Beetles in nearly every detail of the wedding day, down to the time Beth walked down the aisle! They were troopers trekking around downtown Lexington on a very sticky afternoon but did whatever we asked and gave us lots of time -- a photographer's dream! It was great to have hubby Nathan second shooting with me (I have to give him credit for the great silhouette shot above at sunset). Congratulations to David and Beth!

Travis and Betsy -- thanks for such a relaxing, laid back photo session on Friday night and being great sports in spite of warmth! Matt & Tina

It was a pleasure to travel up to Northern Ohio last weekend for Matt & Tina's wedding! I think you can see from the smiles on Matt and Tina's faces the general happiness that permeated the special occasion. Tina's father restored the very cool 1949 Deluxe convertible which starred in many a photo and served as my ride to the church from the family's home! The breezes from the Lake kept it from being too hot and the sun shone for a picture-perfect day! Check back soon for a slideshow of images from their wedding!

Last weekend Nathan and I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Matt & Tina. I can't wait to share some of their bridal portraits -- they are so stinkin' photogenic I hardly had a photo to delete.

Meanwhile, here is a photo of my daughter and me taken a few days ago at Cape May. Els turns 3 next week and I have been thinking a lot about how soon she will grow up and not 'need' us in the ways she needs us now! Though she got to see the ocean about this time last year, she greeted it as if she hadn't seen it before and it was all we could do to tear her away when it was finally time to leave. I have so few pictures of the two of us together, it makes one like this all the more special to me. Thanks for letting me share. ;-)
